1. "Pop Can" poem:
The Road Not Taken. Frost, Robert. 1920. Mountain Interval." Bartleby.com: Great Books Online -- Quotes, Poems, Novels, Classics and Hundreds More. Web. 16 May 2011.
http://www.bartleby.com/119/1.html.

The Poem consists of four stanzas of five lines. The rhyme scheme is ABAAB; the rhymes are assertive. Descriptive. Metaphors are used. Has some connotations.
I really like the voice in this poem; it makes a strong claim. I like the way it used, “Paths in the woods and forks in roads” as metaphors.
What interested me was the different ways of interpreting the poem. Each person could get a different view of what the poems trying to get across.

2. Diary Entry:
"Diary Entry of John Wilkes Booth." UMKC School of Law. Web. 16 May 2011. <http://law2.umkc.edu/faculty/projects/ftrials/lincolnconspiracy/boothdiary.html>.

I used this diary entry because it was really descriptive, and had a lot of integrity. It also talked about the past and I wanted to use past tense in my diary entry as well.

3. Email:
(http://javascriptkit.com), JavaScript Kit. "Patrick Combs - Inspiring Essays." Patrick Combs, Inspiring Speaker, Entertaining Speaker, Motivational Speaker, Bestselling Author in San Diego. Web. 16 May 2011. http://www.goodthink.com/desk/inspiringessays.cfm.

I used this poem to create my email because it was so straight forward, and to the point. It used the writer's craft that I was looking for. The email also illustrated a picture that represented change(to me). (Imagery) It was really passionate, and it shows how with one leader you can make change for a life time.
